Themed quiz aur Mahaquizzer

A couple of announcements. 

1) The next themed quiz, 'The Nature and Wildlife Quiz' by Mr. Govind and Mr. Arjun Mohan (Jun), will happen on 24th November, 2013 (Sunday).

2) A special 30th Anniversary edition of Mahaquizzer, the National written lonewolf Quiz Championship conducted by the Karnataka Quiz Association (KQA), will happen on 8th December, 2013 (Sunday).

It will be an individual written Quiz.

Venue: PSG Institute of Management

Time: 10-11:30.

Prizes will be given for the City Topper, Best Lady Quizzer, Best College Quizzer and Best School Quizzer.

Inter-School Quiz 'Tax your Brain' on 5/4/2013

There will be an inter-school Quiz Competition open to students from classes 9 to 12 on 5^th April 2013 at 9 AM at the COINDIA Auditorium.
This will be the Coimbatore round (hosted by Coimbatore Quiz Circle) of 'Tax your Brain', conducted by Directorate of Income Tax and NDTV in 32 Cities across India.
In each city a written preliminary round will be held, after which the best 4 teams will participate in an on stage final.
The winning team will represent the city in a TV Quiz Show, that will be telecast on NDTV.
Kindly note that participation is by prior registration.

PS  : There are huge prizes for the event and it'll be a wonderful opportunity for schools from our city to shine at the national level and bring accolades to the city.

CQC meeting

There will be a CQC meeting on 31st march, 2013. As usual, there will be a beginner's quiz followed by the main quiz. The main quiz will be conducted by Kartik.

kriya quizzes 2013

As part of Kriya 2013, Association of Serious Quizzers (ASQ) the quiz club of PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, will be conducting 3 quizzes :

1) Kriya Open Quiz:

A General Quiz open to everyone.
3 members in a team.

Cqc Meeting 10/2/2013

Vanakaam,
After the brilliant success of the CQC Open and the School quiz, the Coimbatore Quiz Circle will be meeting this Sunday, 10th February, 2013.
There will be a Beginner/School Quiz followed by the Main Quiz. The meeting will start by 3:30 pm at PSG Institute of Management.

Kovai quotient Quiz

The Murugappa Group, in association with the Coimbatore Quiz Circle, is conducting Murugappa Kovai Quotient,which will be focussing on the history, culture & lifestyle of Kovai.
This Quiz is open to students of class 5 to 12 studying in schools in and around Coimbatore, Nilgiris and Tiruppur districts.
This quiz will have a written preliminary round followed by a grand finale, with prizes worth more than Rs. 1 lakh to be won.
This quiz will be anchored by the renowned quizmaster Dr Navin Jayakumar, and will be conducted at Venkatalakshmi Kalyana Mantapam in Singanallur, Coimbatore on 2/2/2013.
