We are back with two questions.

1) A team of eleven high school students and their physics teacher, Scott Rippetoe, from the Academy of Science and Technology, Woodlands, unveiled the largest playable X in the world." It weighs 2244 lbs and uses 8-inch thick, 25-foot long strings. The string length presented the biggest challenge since it cannot be drawn tight enough to vibrate. They solved the problem using state-of-the-art signal-processing to amplify the string vibration. What am I talking about and name it if possible.

2) X was a lanky, self-conscious fresher from the Film Institute, when Iyakkunar Sigaram took him under his wings. He christened him X taken from Sivaji Ganesan’s popular character from the film Gauravam. It was a period of great social churning in Tamilnadu and this name reflected a unique personality without overtones of caste, creed and social status. Identify.
